After completing the 1-minute integration, you can easily customize your Infolinks ads to get a better user experience and thus maximize your revenue. As a general rule of thumb, more clicks lead more revenue. So try to make more content and get traffic. Here I share some simple tips to optimize your Infolinks ads and maximize your revenues.

1. Matching Highlight Color/Link Color

Choose a link color that matches to your blog color. The color of the In-text links should stand out from the text color of your pages. There is an option on the right side of the customization wizard to set your site’s text and background colors. There you can see how Infolinks In-text links will be displaying on your website. Choose your link color wisely. Make your link color that suits your website’s hyperlink color to get more clicks.

2. Use Single Underline

You can set the highlighted links on your pages to single or double underlined. Infolinks serves better-paying ads with double underlined keyword. So people tend to use double underline, which gives a clear message to your website visitors –Hey I am using In-text ads. So it is better to make it dotted, so people think this as a normal link and this will increase your CTR.

3. Maximum Links Per Page

Infolinks recommend keeping the links per page to its maximum(12). They are saying then only visitors get the feeling of ads on your website pages. If all your pages have more than 1000 words content, you can try this technique. Otherwise, keep the links  per page to 6. Note : Don’t annoy your users with too many ads.

4. Choose the Best Content Category

You can choose any of the content categories from the given list. Choose the correct category for your website for better-targeted ads. You can easily change your current category from ‘My Websites’ menu. Select a proper category for your website and see the result.

5. Make Use of Infolinks On/off Text Infolinks Ads Placement Control

The placement tags allow the publisher to control where to display the Infolinks ads.

The Infolinks off tag <!--INFOLINKS_OFF--> turns off the script. Place it just before the section of text in which you do not want InText ads. You should put the Infolinks on tag <!--INFOLINKS_ON--> when you want to turn the script on again (when you want ads to appear). Remove the ads from your header and sidebar using the Infolinks On/off Text. So you will get more ads in your content and this will increase your CTR.
